The Men's Lounge is an established barbershop in Paddington Central Shopping Centre on Brisbane's inner city fringe. They run a walk-in only service for a loyal, friendly and respectful community of clients, with a young, energetic team and a positive atmosphere. Work-life balance is a feature: no Sunday trading, no late nights and shorter Saturday hours. They are after a barber with 2 to 5 years of professional experience, though apprentices will also be considered. The ideal person has a genuine passion for the craft, strong relationship-building skills and an approachable manner. The role covers delivering styling and barbering services, building lasting relationships with a diverse clientele, keeping the shop clean and well presented, supporting retail merchandising and stock, and handling transactions and daily reporting. Pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour. Current work visa holders based in Australia are welcome to apply. There is room to develop skills within a thriving, well-run business.
