About the role

Amore Barbershop has one chair open at their Bondi Junction shop on Oxford Street, two minutes from the station and Westfield. They run three shops across Sydney, at Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach and Potts Point, with more on the way. The shop draws steady walk-in trade, so books are full from the first shift rather than months later. Saturdays are the busiest, and the crew comes from all over the world with the music up and plenty of banter. They are after clean skin fades, sharp scissor work and quality beard work, from someone who is punctual and competitive. Full-time or part-time is on offer, with Thursday to Saturday the priority. Pay runs from 38 to 45 dollars an hour for every barber, plus commission on extras and products paid weekly and a monthly team bonus. Sundays are always off. A paid half-day trial is offered with a same-day decision and a first shift within seven days. Working holiday visa holders are welcome.
