La Barberia & Co. in Fortitude Valley is looking for a skilled barber to join their team. The shop draws on an Italian approach to grooming, blending classic technique with modern style. They are after someone dedicated to the craft with strong attention to detail. Day to day work covers men's haircuts, beard trims, shaves and styling, all delivered to the shop's standard of service. Barbers keep their workstation and tools clean, follow hygiene and health and safety protocols, and build repeat relationships with clients. A Certificate III in Barbering or equivalent is required, along with proven experience in a professional barbershop and solid technical skills in cutting, fading, shaving and styling. An interest in Italian style and craftsmanship is a bonus. Pay starts from $79,423 per year plus 12 percent superannuation, depending on experience, with performance-based incentives. The role offers a supportive team environment plus ongoing professional development and training. Full-time and part-time options are available.
