About the role

Legana Barbershop is after a reliable, experienced barber to join their growing local shop at Legana Shopping Centre, next to Salvos. This is a casual position, with days and hours worked out around the applicant's availability and the shop's needs. Some weekend availability is preferred. The role covers men's and children's haircuts, skin fades, tapers, scissor cuts and beard trims, keeping services running on time and working with the team to manage walk-ins and bookings. Maintaining clean tools, workstations and a hygienic shop is part of the job. They want someone with at least two years of hands-on barbershop experience, confident working independently across a range of hair types and styles, friendly, punctual and comfortable consulting with customers. Pay is $37 to $40 per hour for ordinary weekday hours depending on experience, skills and award classification, with casual loading included and super paid on top. Weekend, public holiday and overtime rates follow the applicable award. They offer a welcoming workplace and support to develop skills.
