About the role
Amore Barbershop is expanding and has a chair open at each of its three Eastern Suburbs shops: Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach and Potts Point, all within 15 minutes of each other. The shops trade 7 days a week and build rosters around each barber's life, with full-time or part-time available. Bondi Junction is the busy walk-in spot near the station and Westfield, Bondi Beach draws the beach crowd and regulars, and Potts Point serves an inner-city clientele. Pay is $39 to $45 an hour for every barber, plus 10 percent on extras and products paid weekly, and a monthly team bonus when a shop hits target. Full-time barbers at the top rate can earn up to $96,000 a year. Books are full from day one. They offer a paid half-day trial with a same-day decision and a first shift within 7 days. Visa sponsorship is available, one barber per shop. They want clean skin fades, sharp scissor work and strong beard work, with reliability and good banter.
