About the role

Moe & Co Chermside, operated by M & C Chermside Pty Ltd, is after an experienced and motivated barber to join their team at Westfield Chermside on Gympie Road. This is a family-friendly salon offering cuts, colour and styling for all ages, with a lively, walk-in friendly atmosphere and a mixed team of barbers and stylists. The role pays $75,000 to $85,000 per year plus superannuation and is full-time in a busy, high-traffic centre. Day to day, the barber greets and consults with clients, performs a range of men's cuts using clippers, scissors and razor techniques including fades, tapers, crops and classic styles, and shapes beards and moustaches with line-ups and straight razor finishing. Hair washing, product selection and finishing are part of the service, along with home care recommendations. Keeping the workstation clean and tools sterilised between clients is expected. They want at least two years in a commercial salon or barbershop, a Certificate III or higher in barbering or hairdressing, or an overseas equivalent.
