Barber, full-time chair

About the role

Amore Barbershop has one chair open at their Bondi Junction shop on Oxford Street, two minutes from the station and Westfield. They run three shops across Sydney: Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach and Potts Point, with a black and brass fit-out and a loyal base of regulars. The site sees walk-in trade all day, so the successful barber has full books from the first shift. Saturdays are the busiest, with every chair going and walk-ins queuing. They are after clean skin fades, sharp scissor work and strong beard work, plus someone punctual, competitive and good with banter. On offer: an above average hourly rate for every barber, commission on extras and products paid weekly, a monthly team bonus, and every Sunday off as the shop is closed. A paid half-day trial is run with a same-day decision and a first shift within seven days. Full-time or part-time available, with Thursday to Saturday the priority. Working holiday visa holders are welcome.
