About the role

Big Barber Delux in Wodonga is adding a full-time barber to what they describe as the largest barbering team in town. They are after someone with at least one year of paid experience as a barber or hairdresser who can cut, fade, shave and shape beards to a commercial salon standard. The role sits inside Wodonga Plaza shopping centre and offers a salary of 80,000 to 90,000 dollars per year plus 12 percent superannuation, production bonuses and commissions on product sales. Shifts are flexible, and there is the option to work Sundays at a high pay rate. Day to day work covers cutting and trimming to client instructions, shaving and shaping beards and moustaches, keeping tools cleaned and sanitised, supervising apprentices and trainees, providing face, scalp and neck massages, and suggesting styles. After-hours training sessions are available, and the shop points to talented colleagues as a chance to keep learning and developing on the job.
