Barber, full-time

About the role

Solo Barber is after an experienced barber to join the team at their Burleigh Heads shop on the Gold Coast. This is a full-time role in a supportive environment where staff skills are valued and there is genuine room to grow as the business expands. Day to day the work covers modern and traditional barbering: clipper and scissor cuts, fades, cut throat and dry or wet shaves, beard trims, line ups and general grooming. Kids cuts across high school, primary and younger ages are also part of the mix. Beyond cutting, the barber keeps their station, tools and towels clean, handles basic housekeeping, manages cash and reconciling, and opens and closes the shop. Applicants need at least two years of barbering experience and should be confident with fades, scissor work and beard trims. A professional, friendly attitude, reliability and neat presentation are important. Weekend availability is required. Pay runs from 36 to 54 dollars per hour.
