About the role

Lux Barbers in Point Cook is looking for a skilled full-time barber to join their team. The shop focuses on quality haircuts, fades, beard grooming and personalised service in a professional, welcoming setting. Day to day the role covers consulting with clients on their preferred styles, cutting, trimming and styling hair along with beard and moustache work, and applying styling, grooming and aftercare products. There is also facial waxing plus face, neck and scalp massages. Barbers are expected to promote services and retail products, keep the workspace clean and sanitised, and ensure shelves and supplies stay stocked. They want someone reliable who can run the shop independently when needed, with strong communication and time management. A Certificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering is preferred, and at least three years of experience in a similar setting is required. Pay is 75,000 to 85,000 dollars per year.
