Barber, full-time

About the role

Lux Barbers in Point Cook is looking for a skilled full-time barber to join their team. The shop focuses on quality grooming in a professional, welcoming setting, offering haircuts, fades, beard trims and grooming treatments. Day to day the role involves consulting with clients about their preferred style, shampooing, cutting, trimming and styling hair, beards and moustaches, and applying styling and aftercare products. There is also facial waxing along with face, neck and scalp massages. Barbers are expected to promote services and retail products, keep the workspace clean and hygienic, sanitise equipment and keep shelves stocked. They want someone reliable who can run the shop independently when needed, with strong communication and time management skills. A Certificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering is preferred, and at least three years of experience in a similar barbering role is required. Pay is a salary between 75,000 and 85,000 dollars per year.
