About the role

The Blades Barber Hobart is a barbershop in the heart of Hobart looking for an experienced barber or hairdresser to join the team full-time. The day-to-day covers men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, beard shaves, styling and general grooming services, along with keeping the work area clean, organised and well stocked. There is also an expectation to recommend and sell retail hair products and to stay current with trends and techniques. They are after someone with a relevant barbering or hairdressing qualification and at least two years of experience in a professional salon, plus strong customer service and attention to detail. Candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia, though onshore visa sponsorship is available for the right person. The shop also offers one month of free accommodation, ongoing training and development, and a range of employee benefits. Pay is 77,000 to 80,000 dollars per year.
