About the role

Busy Barber is a small family business in Burleigh Waters on the Gold Coast, owned and run by a third generation barber. They are after a fully qualified barber to join a community-focused shop serving a diverse clientele with both modern and traditional services. The role is casual with regular hours, flexible rosters and 8.5 hour shifts available. Day to day work includes efficient high-quality haircuts (around three good cuts an hour), clipper and scissor cuts, fades, cut throat services, wet and dry shaves, beard trims, line ups and grooming, plus kids cuts across all ages. Barbers also keep their station and tools clean, handle cash and reconciling, and help open and close the shop. Applicants need a Certificate III in Barbering and previous experience, along with reliability, professionalism and the ability to work unsupervised.
