About the role

Fenrir Barbers is a new boutique brand opening in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, with a full renovation planned so the shop will be brand new. They are after talented barbers to grow with the business from the ground up. Day to day the role covers precision cuts, skin fades, classic and contemporary styles, beard trims and shaping, plus traditional shaving with scissors, clippers and razors. Barbers consult with clients on their preferred look, hair type and grooming needs, prepare clients including shampooing where required, and finish each service to a high standard. Other duties include building relationships with a growing clientele, keeping tools and workstations sanitised, managing appointments and payments, and recommending products through knowledgeable advice rather than hard selling. The shop wants someone reliable, punctual and good with people. A cert III or IV, an apprenticeship or at least three years of experience is required, along with at least one year in a boutique barbershop. Pay is 32 to 47 dollars an hour, part-time or full-time.
