About the role

Ellevate Hair Studio is an independent barbershop in Elsternwick with a growing local client base. They are after another experienced barber to join the team, offering 2 to 3 days per week to start, including Saturdays, with the chance for more days as bookings grow. The successful barber will work alongside Gian, the founder and senior barber, who has 19 years of experience and a background in barbering education. Regular workshops and knowledge sharing are part of the setup, though the shop needs someone who can already run their own chair independently. They want at least 4 years of professional barbering experience, strong scissor work, fades, classic and modern cuts, beard work and longer styles, plus solid consultation skills and reliability. The legal right to work in Australia is required. Pay is $32 to $40 per hour plus super depending on experience, with commission on retail sales and performance-based bonuses on offer.
