About the role

Barberie is an established barbershop on the Coogee and Clovelly border that is growing its team and looking for a talented barber or hairdresser to come on board. Applicants need a recognised barbering or hairdressing qualification and at least two years of relevant experience. They are after friendly staff who take pride in their work. Day to day the role covers consulting with clients about their hair and beard, advising on cuts and products, shampooing and scalp massage, chemical colour work, cutting with scissors and clippers, and trimming or shaving beards and moustaches including cutthroat razor line-ups. Strong skin fade skills are a must. Booking appointments, taking payments, and keeping the station clean and sanitised are part of the job too. This is described as a quality over quantity shop with a good working environment, pleasant clients and staff. The position is full-time and permanent, paying $79,500 to $84,000 per year.
