About the role

Mairaa Pty Ltd, trading as Desi Dude Men's Hair Salon Group, is hiring across multiple branches, with this role based at their Auburn shop. They run a men's salon and are after a barber or hairdresser who can handle haircuts, fades, modern designs, beard trimming and shaping, classic straight razor shaves with hot towels, moustache grooming, hair styling for men and children, colouring, scalp treatments, and ear and nose hair trimming. The role also involves recommending and selling hair products, assisting with daily salon operations such as bookings and the register, and mentoring junior barbers. The position is full-time and permanent at 38 hours per week, with days and timings to be discussed including Saturday and Sunday. Pay is 80,000 dollars per year in a range of 75,000 to 85,000, plus 12 percent superannuation. They ask for at least 3 years of experience, either Australian or overseas, along with a Certificate III and training or a Certificate IV. Indian or Desi style barbering is a specialty.
