A family-owned and operated hair salon near Granville Station is looking for an experienced hairdresser to join their friendly team. The role can be full-time, part-time or casual, with expected hours of 30 to 50 per week. Pay starts from 27 dollars per hour plus commission on services and customers, depending on experience and skills, giving staff a chance to lift their overall earnings. Day to day work covers consultations, haircuts, trims, blow-drys and styling, along with colouring, highlights, balayage and hair treatments for those with the experience. Staff also recommend suitable hair-care products, build relationships with regular clients and keep tools and the salon clean and tidy. They are after someone confident across cutting, styling, colouring and treatments, with strong customer service and communication. Applicants should be friendly, reliable, well-presented and able to work both independently and within a team. Weekend availability is required, along with a willingness to keep up with current trends and techniques.
