About the role

Fresh Futures Hair & Beauty Lounge is looking for a qualified and experienced barber to join their team in Alice Springs. This is a full-time role of 38 hours per week, paying $81,000 per year plus superannuation. The shop serves a diverse client base and the barber will provide men's grooming while helping the salon run smoothly day to day. Duties include client consultations, cutting and shaping men's and boys' hair, skin fades, taper fades, clipper cuts and scissor cuts across modern and traditional styles. Beard, moustache and sideburn grooming plus razor shaving are also part of the work, along with shampooing, styling and recommending products. Applicants need a recognised barbering or hairdressing qualification and relevant commercial experience, with solid skills in men's cutting, clipper work, fades and beard grooming. Interstate applicants from Adelaide, Melbourne, Darwin and elsewhere are welcome to apply and relocate.
