About the role

UR Studio is a contemporary Melbourne hair studio built around quality haircuts, strong consultation and ongoing education. They are after an experienced senior barber to join a growing team, someone who takes pride in their craft and delivers a high standard of service. Day to day the role covers professional barbering and haircutting, thorough client consultations, keeping the workspace clean and organised, and working alongside the rest of the team. The shop wants at least two years of barbering or hairdressing experience, confident clipper and scissor work, solid attention to detail and good communication. An existing clientele is a bonus but not essential. Pay runs from 65,400 to 70,100 dollars a year depending on experience and skill, plus superannuation and a performance-based bonus. The studio offers an established and growing clientele, a premium modern setting, an ongoing education and development program, a mentoring program and room to grow within UR Studio.
