Senior barber, full-time

About the role

Babaz Barbershop is an established barber salon with locations in Ellenbrook and Butler, WA. They are after an experienced barber to join their growing team on a full-time basis at the Butler shop. The role covers all aspects of men's grooming to a professional standard: cutting and styling with scissors, clippers and razors, shaving and shaping beards and moustaches, shampooing and scalp conditioning, and advising clients on hair care and beard maintenance. Staff also recommend salon products, help with appointment scheduling and client payments, handle cash and record keeping, and keep tools sterilised and the work area clean and presentable. Applicants need an Australian Certificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering or equivalent plus 12 months of experience, or at least three years of experience in lieu of the qualification. Pay is $77,000 to $80,000 per year plus superannuation.
