Senior barber, full-time

About the role

JTs Ladies and Mens Hairstylists is looking for an experienced senior barber to join their team at Rockingham City Shopping Centre. The role is full-time in a modern, well-equipped and customer-focused shop. Day to day, the barber will deliver quality haircuts, beard trims and shaves using both modern and traditional techniques, offer grooming and styling advice, recommend products, and keep a clean, hygienic workstation. Building strong client relationships to encourage repeat business is important, as is supporting apprentices and junior barbers and following workplace health and safety requirements. They are after someone with at least three years of experience in a professional setting, skilled in scissor work, clipper fades, razor shaves and beard styling, with strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. A Certificate III in Barbering or equivalent is expected. On offer is a competitive hourly rate, an employee discount, ongoing training and development, and a supportive team environment.
