Senior barber or skilled apprentice

About the role

Felices Barbershop is a busy shop by the bay in Sandgate, with a loyal clientele and a friendly team. They have an opening coming up for a senior barber or a skilled apprentice. Full-time, part-time and casual hours can all be discussed. Pay ranges from 35 to 45 dollars per hour including super, plus bonuses depending on skill level. Applicants need a Cert 3 in Barbering and hands-on experience. If skills need a touch up or you want help adapting to the clientele, on-site training is offered through their educators. The shop wants barbers competent in traditional and modern styles, fades and cutthroat razor work. Skilled apprentices are encouraged to apply, and the shop will work closely with your school or can point you to a good one. They need availability on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays (half day), with remaining days sorted for full-timers once accepted. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
