Senior barber

About the role

Burbs is an award-winning barbershop with shops in Maroubra and Dee Why, known for high-quality service and a professional environment. They are after an experienced senior barber to join their team full-time on a salary of $75,000 to $80,000 per year. The ideal candidate holds an AQF Certificate III with two years of on-the-job training, or an AQF Certificate IV with 12 months of work experience, or has at least three years of relevant experience as a hairdresser or barber. The role calls for skill in classic cuts, modern styles and beard grooming, along with confidence using scissors, clippers and razors. Experience shaving and trimming beards and moustaches is expected. The shop wants someone comfortable arranging appointments and collecting payments, passionate about barbering and customer service, punctual and team-oriented. They value adaptability to different styles and client preferences, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
