About the role

Galatea Hair Salon in Canberra is after a senior hairdresser with advanced technical skills and refined consultation ability. This is a full-time role paying between 30 and 45 dollars per hour. The stylist will work independently across a broad range of services, including complex, corrective and specialised colour work, while keeping craftsmanship and hair health outcomes to a high standard. They will contribute to the salon's reputation through consistent service and strong client relationships. Mentoring is part of the position: the successful applicant will support apprentices and emerging stylists, lead by example and share knowledge in line with the salon's standards and culture. Ongoing professional development is encouraged. The shop is looking for someone with genuine experience and professional maturity, sound judgement and the confidence to deliver corrective colour on their own.
