Just Cuts at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach is hiring senior hairdressers on a casual basis, with up to 38 hours per week available. The salon runs a non-chemical, no-appointment and no-request system, focusing on style cutting, shampoos, dry offs and blow waves. They are after someone with a Certificate 3 and a completed apprenticeship, or three years of full-time experience in lieu of qualification, along with good communication skills, a friendly manner and tidy presentation. Duties include hair styling and cutting, shampooing and conditioning, beard trims, blow waves and keeping equipment clean and in order. Pay follows the Hair and Beauty Industry Award 2020, with above-award rates for the right person, working out at $35.15 to $42 per hour. Extras include bonuses on product sales, points redeemable for prizes or cash, other cash incentives and a sign-on bonus of up to $500. All-day staff parking is available for a nominal cost, and ongoing training and recognition are offered. No overseas applications.
