The Hair and The Honey is expanding and looking for a senior stylist to join a boutique Gold Coast salon in Palm Beach. The team of seven works one on one with clients from start to finish, aiming for a relaxed, unrushed experience. The salon is the Gold Coast's most popular hair extension salon and specialises in extensions and colour. Hours are Tuesday to Friday, meaning a three day weekend every week and no weekend or public holiday work. Full-time is 38 hours a week, or part-time from 25 hours, with at least one late night required (Wednesday and Thursday run to 8.30pm). Pay is $32 to $40 an hour plus uncapped weekly bonuses, well above award. Perks include paid training, flexible hours, time off after Christmas, regular team outings and complimentary hair colour and extensions for staff. They want at least five years experience, confidence with colour including corrections and balayage, and strong long hair styling. Extensions training is provided so experience is not essential.
