This is a hands-on role that also carries leadership duties, so it suits someone who enjoys mentoring others while still working the floor. Day to day you will deliver haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves and grooming treatments, guide and support junior barbers, and build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business. You will also keep the shop to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety, and handle customer enquiries professionally. The shop wants a recognised barbering qualification or extensive professional experience, along with previous senior barber experience and solid leadership and communication skills. Up-to-date knowledge of modern techniques, trends and products is expected. Pay is 35 to 40 dollars per hour, negotiable on experience, with performance bonuses on offer.
