HMB Barbers is opening a new shop at Otto's Warrina in the Townsville area and is after an experienced barber or hairdresser to join the team, ideally at manager level. HMB runs a network of barbershops across Queensland and places a strong focus on customer service and looking after its staff. The shop is partnered with 4BARBERS Education, so there is genuine training, upskilling and career progression on offer. This is a full-time role, though casual and part-time positions are also available. Day to day work includes cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors, shaving and trimming beards and moustaches, advising clients on hair care and styles, and keeping the work area clean and instruments sanitised. They are looking for someone reliable, hardworking, honest and passionate about the craft with a friendly, positive manner. A hairdressing or barbering qualification is preferred but not essential.
