The Hair and Barber Room in Fremantle is after a fully qualified senior hairdresser to join their team on a casual basis with flexible hours. Pay runs at $38 to $48 per hour, above award rates for the right person, plus a generous commission structure. The salon sits in a good spot near shops and cafes. The role covers haircuts, colouring, highlighting and styling, advising clients on current trends and suitable products, keeping the space clean and hygienic, and working closely with the rest of the team. Experience in ladies services is essential and a willingness to learn mens work is preferred. They also want someone confident with short cuts and skin fades, or keen to learn. Applicants need at least 2 years' experience and a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent, or be working toward it.
