The Hair and The Honey is expanding and looking for a senior stylist to join a boutique Gold Coast salon in Palm Beach. The team of seven works one on one with clients from start to finish, aiming for a relaxed, unrushed experience. The salon is the Gold Coast's most popular hair extension salon and specialises in extensions and colour. Hours are Tuesday to Friday, meaning a three day weekend every week and no weekend or public holiday work. Full-time is 38 hours a week, or part-time from 25 hours, with at least one late night required (Wednesday and Thursday run to 8.30pm). Pay is $32 to $40 an hour plus uncapped weekly bonuses, well above award. Perks include paid training, flexible hours, time off after Christmas, regular team outings and complimentary hair colour and extensions for staff. They want at least five years experience, confidence with colour including corrections and balayage, and strong long hair styling. Extensions training is provided so experience is not essential.

Ezy Cuts in Wollongong is after a qualified hairdresser to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. Applicants should hold a Certificate III or IV in Hairdressing, or have equivalent experience, with at least one year in a similar role preferred. The role covers the full range of salon services: cutting, shampooing, blow drying, colouring, styling, and treatments, plus upstyles such as braids, ponytails and buns for formal events and everyday looks. There is also beard and moustache trimming and shaving. Day to day includes welcoming clients, recommending styles to suit face shape and taste, managing bookings, serving walk-ins, cross-selling products and keeping stations tidy and tools sterilised. The shop offers complimentary ongoing education and career development, and staff work alongside a friendly, supportive group of stylists. Pay is 80,000 per year plus 12 percent superannuation, with overtime pay and tips on top. Shifts run eight hours across a rostered schedule. An employee discount is included.
