About the role

Big Barber Lavington is hiring two full-time barbers to join what they describe as the largest barbering team in the Albury-Lavington area. The role is based at their shop in Lavington Square Shopping Centre, next to Woolworths on Griffith Rd. They are after someone with at least one year of paid experience as a barber or hairdresser who can cut, fade, shave and shape beards to a commercial salon standard. Day to day work includes cutting and trimming hair to client instructions, shaping beards and moustaches, keeping tools cleaned and sanitised, offering style suggestions, providing face, scalp and neck massages, and supervising apprentices and trainees. The pay is a salary of $80,000 to $90,000 per year plus 12 percent superannuation and production bonuses. There is flexibility with shifts, the option to work Sundays at a higher rate, and after-hours training sessions. They say there is plenty to learn alongside talented colleagues.
