About the role

Big Barber Lavington is hiring two full-time barbers to join what they describe as the biggest barbering team in the Albury and Lavington area. The role covers cutting and trimming to client instructions, fades, shaving and shaping beards and moustaches, offering style suggestions, and providing face, scalp and neck massages. Barbers are also expected to keep all tools cleaned and sanitised between clients and to help supervise apprentices and trainees. They are after someone with at least one year of paid experience as a barber or hairdresser who can work to a commercial salon standard. Pay is $80,000 to $90,000 per year plus 12 percent superannuation and bonuses on production. The shop offers shift flexibility, after-hours training sessions, and the chance to work Sundays at a higher rate. It sits in Lavington Square Shopping Centre next to Woolworths on Griffith Road.
