Barber, full-time

About the role

Dr Edi's Barbershop is after an experienced barber to join their team in Burnie. They run a welcoming, walk-in shop offering haircuts, styling and beard services. The work covers consulting with customers about their haircut and grooming preferences, cutting and styling with scissors, clippers and razors, and delivering fades, tapered cuts and both traditional and contemporary styles. The role also includes trimming and shaping beards and moustaches, providing shaving services, advising on hair care and products, and keeping tools and workstations clean and hygienic. Processing payments and friendly customer service are part of the day too. They want a barber with a Certificate III in Barbering or Hairdressing or substantial relevant experience, strong skills in scissor and clipper cutting, fades and beard grooming, and availability to work a roster that includes weekends. On offer is full-time work with an annual salary of 80,000 to 85,000 plus super, leave entitlements and a supportive workplace. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate, subject to eligibility.
