Barber, full-time chair

About the role

Big Barber runs the largest barbering team in Albury, with nine colleagues on the floor and plenty of room to learn from the crew. They are after a full-time barber and will also consider an apprentice. The base salary is 76,515 dollars per year plus superannuation, with potential to earn up to 90,000 dollars based on performance. On top of that there are bonuses on production and commissions on product sales. Shifts are flexible, and there is the option to work Sundays for a very high pay rate. After-hours training sessions are available. The shop sits in a busy retail area near West End Plaza, Lavington Square, Myer Centrepoint and Wodonga Plaza. Day to day the role covers cutting and trimming to client instructions, shaving and shaping beards and moustaches, giving hairstyle suggestions, providing face, scalp and neck massages, and keeping all tools cleaned and sanitised. The barber will also help supervise apprentices and trainees.
