About the role

Ellevate Hair Studio in Elsternwick is a young, growing barbershop that values quality work, good customer service and a place both clients and barbers enjoy. They are after an experienced barber to join the team as the shop gets busier. The role starts at 2 to 3 days per week including Saturdays, with more days available as bookings grow. You will work alongside Gian, the founder and senior barber, who has 19 years of experience and a background in barbering education. The shop runs regular workshops to share techniques and keep developing. They want at least 4 years of professional experience and confidence to run your own chair independently, with strong scissor work, fades, classic and modern cuts, beard work and longer styles, plus solid consultation and attention to detail. The legal right to work in Australia is required. Pay is $32 to $40 per hour plus super, based on experience. Benefits include an employee discount and genuine room to build your own clientele.
