About the role

Ugly Men's Association is a barbershop set in the basement of the State Buildings in Perth city, with a secondary location called False Idol. They are after skilled barbers, male or female, to join the team on a full-time basis and help build their progressive, eclectic brand. The work covers scissor cuts, fades and tapering, cut throat and face shaves, line-ups and beard shaping. They want dependable, loyal and hard-working barbers who are team players and passionate about the trade. Candidates need at least an AQF Certificate III in barbering or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of two years as a barber. The shop runs on appointments through an online booking system, so barbers get balanced days with the right amount of time per client. It is closed on Sunday with no late nights. Pay runs from $79,500 to $85,000 a year depending on experience. Working Holiday visa holders are welcome and sponsorship is offered to the right candidate.
