About the role

Big Barber is hiring a full-time barber to join their team at Wodonga Plaza, said to be the largest group of barbers in Wodonga. They are after someone with at least one year of paid experience as a barber or hairdresser who can cut, fade, shave and shape beards to a commercial salon standard. Pay is $80,000 to $90,000 per year plus 12 percent superannuation and bonuses, with production bonuses and commissions on product sales on top. Sunday shifts are available at a high rate, and there is flexibility with rostering. After-hours training sessions are offered so staff can keep building their skills. Day to day the role covers cutting and trimming to client instructions, shaping beards and moustaches, keeping tools cleaned and sanitised between clients, offering face, scalp and neck massages, suggesting styles and supervising apprentices and trainees. The shop is located in the Wodonga Plaza shopping centre and works alongside a talented team.
