About the role

Busy Barber is a small family business on the Gold Coast, owned and run by a third generation barber focused on modern and traditional barbering. They are after a fully qualified, highly skilled barber to join a community minded team where staff work well together and connect with a broad clientele. The role is casual with regular hours, flexible rosters and 8.5 hour shifts available. Pay starts from $36.81 per hour, with a realistic bonus system and tips on top. The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Barbering, has at least one year of experience and can complete three good quality haircuts in an hour. They should be reliable, punctual, self motivated and able to work unsupervised, with strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Skills needed span clipper and scissor cuts, fades, cut throat and wet or dry shaves, beard trims, line ups and kids cuts. Other duties include cleaning your station and tools, cash handling, reconciling and opening or closing the shop.
