About the role

Barberhood Studios in Ormeau on the Gold Coast is after an experienced barber to join their team on a full-time basis. The role pays $40 per hour. Day to day, the barber will deliver haircuts, shaves and grooming treatments to a varied clientele, consult with clients on their preferences, and recommend suitable services and products. Keeping the studio clean, hygienic and welcoming is expected, along with meeting industry sanitisation standards and managing appointments so service stays on time. The shop wants someone with a solid track record, strong attention to detail and good customer service skills, comfortable with professional barbering tools and health and safety protocols. Experience in a busy salon or studio setting is preferred. A professional, well-groomed appearance and reliable, punctual habits matter here.
