Experienced barber

About the role

Barber Jack's is a newly opened barbershop in Gunnedah looking to add an experienced barber to the team. This is a casual role paying $35 to $40 per hour depending on experience. The shop is after someone who takes pride in their work, is confident behind the chair and knows how to give every customer a good experience. Day to day the work covers modern and traditional men's cuts, skin fades and clipper work, beard trims and grooming, styling and product recommendations, plus keeping the workspace clean and hygienic. They want someone with prior barbering experience, strong fading and clipper skills, reliability and good presentation, and the confidence to work solo or as part of a team. Australian working rights are required. A barbering qualification is preferred, though experienced barbers with strong practical skills are welcome to apply.
