About the role

Nineteen Projects is after a qualified full-time hairdresser to join their team in Ballarat. This is a permanent role covering both hairdressing and barbering work for men and women. Daily tasks include consulting with clients on styles, colours and treatments, cutting and layering with scissors, clippers and razors, and delivering barbering services such as skin fades, taper fades, clipper cuts, beard trims, moustache shaping and hot towel shaves. The role also covers colouring, tinting, bleaching, highlights, balayage and toning, plus chemical services like perming, straightening and keratin treatments. Blow-drying, styling for everyday and special occasions, product recommendations and aftercare advice are all part of the work. Staff keep tools sanitised, manage appointments, help with stock control and support apprentices. They ask for a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent and at least one year of full-time experience across cutting, colouring and chemical work. Pay is 75,000 to 85,000 per year plus 12 percent super, depending on experience, with long-term career growth on offer.
