About the role

Hairshed Pty Ltd in Forest Lodge is looking for a qualified hairdresser and barber to join their friendly team of skilled stylists. This is a permanent full-time role of 38 or more hours per week, running 9am to 6pm on weekdays with weekend work on a roster. Pay starts at $78,000 plus super and can reach up to $150,000 a year, with commission and a performance bonus on top. Applicants need at least two years of experience, relevant qualifications, a valid working visa and a police check. The work covers cutting, trimming and styling to suit each client, along with clipper and razor work, shampooing, colouring, bleaching, streaking and foiling. Perming, straightening and waving solutions are also part of the day, plus scalp treatments and finishing. Other duties include managing bookings, handling cash and keeping the station clean and sanitised. An employee mentoring program is offered, and visa sponsorship is available for the right person.
