About the role

They are after a friendly, reliable hairdresser and beauty therapist all-rounder to join their Canberra salon. The role can be full-time, part-time or casual, paying between 52,880 and 85,098 dollars per year. On the hairdressing side the work covers women's haircuts and styling, shampooing, blow-dries and hair treatments, root colours, full colours and toners, foils, highlights and balayage, colour correction for those experienced, keratin smoothing or nanoplasty, plus hair and scalp consultations and product advice. Beauty duties include brow shaping, waxing, tinting, henna and lamination, lash lifting and tinting, facial waxing, basic facials and skincare, along with client consultations and aftercare. Applicants should be qualified in hairdressing, beauty therapy or both, with salon experience preferred. They want someone confident across both hair and beauty, well presented, punctual and able to work independently, and comfortable helping with reception, bookings and salon cleanliness.
