About the role

Advanced Hair Studio is after a qualified hair stylist to join their Launceston team, with the chance to develop specialised skills in non-surgical hair replacement and hair restoration. This is a part-time role of 2 to 3 days per week, roughly 10 to 15 hours, with the roster open for discussion with the right person. Pay is 30 to 33 dollars per hour plus a generous commission structure. No previous hair restoration experience is needed: paid comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided. They are looking for someone Certificate III qualified in hairdressing, ideally with 1 to 2 years of salon experience including male haircuts, though recent graduates are welcome. Candidates should be confident with cutting and styling, strong communicators with good consultation skills, personable and able to build long-term client relationships, and respectful of confidentiality. The studio has specialised in hair loss solutions for over 50 years and offers ongoing professional development and an immediate start.
