About the role

Old South Salon (AOK AUS) is an upmarket shop in Vaucluse, one of Sydney's most exclusive suburbs, working with a high-end clientele in a modern setting. They are after a motivated full-time hairdresser who will help build a client database and grow the business. The role covers full client consultations, cutting and styling to current trends, and colour work including foils, balayage and ombre. It also includes chemical services such as perming, relaxing and straightening, plus treatments like deep conditioning, keratin and scalp massages. Staff manage their own bookings and records, recommend home care products and keep the workstation clean and hygienic. Applicants need a Certificate III and at least two years of experience, strong communication and customer relations, and neat presentation. Candidates must already be in Australia with full work rights. Pay is 79,500 to 85,000 per year. The shop sits close to cafes and parks with plenty of onsite parking.
