About the role

Alice's Hair Artistry, an established salon on the Central Coast at Toukley, is after a confident hairdresser to look after clients across colour, foils, balayage, cutting and styling. They want someone who works well independently but also enjoys being part of a team and supporting apprentices as they develop. There is scope to build a regular clientele and take on more responsibility over time. Applicants need a Certificate III in Hairdressing or higher, or they can be a capable third-year apprentice nearing completion, and should be reliable with strong consultation skills. Pay runs from 29 to 38 dollars per hour. The roster is Monday to Friday with no compulsory weekend work, though Saturdays can be included if they suit. Full-time or part-time hours can be discussed. Perks include a paid birthday off when it falls on a rostered day, around two weeks off over Christmas and New Year, and a focus on ongoing education. The salon has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
