About the role

A growing group of barbershops and hair salons is after three qualified hairdressers for a brand new salon in Austral, in Sydney's south west. The role covers men's, ladies' and children's styling, with the salon catering to families and clients of all ages. The focus is on quality work and a strong customer experience from start to finish. New team members will be mentored by one of the brand's most successful professionals and supported to build their own clientele using good business practice, quality products and an established reputation. The salon is positioned to benefit from strong foot traffic, with good amenities and a community feel. It opens seven days a week, so some flexibility with rosters is needed, which can suit someone wanting to work close to home around other commitments. Pay is 28.12 to 30 dollars per hour for a full-time role. This is pitched as a long-term opportunity.
