About the role

M Element Hair Salon, run by M&C Brothers, is a well-established and growing salon in Box Hill, Victoria. They are after an experienced hairdresser to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis, reporting to the salon owners. The role covers the full client journey, from consultation through to the finished style. Work includes cutting with scissors, clippers and razors, colouring with highlighting, balayage, bleaching and toning, straightening and perming, plus braiding, dreadlocks and extensions. Beard and moustache trimming is also part of the mix, along with scalp treatments, client records, appointments and tool sanitising. The salon asks for a Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent experience and at least two years working in a salon, with strong technical skills across cutting, colouring and styling. Pay is a salary of 75,000 to 85,000 dollars a year plus superannuation. They offer ongoing training, career development, a supportive team and an established, loyal client base.
