About the role

Soul Hair is a busy salon in Hawthorn looking for an experienced, motivated hairdresser to join their team on a full-time basis. They are after someone with a genuine passion for the trade, a positive and mature attitude, and a goal of building a long-term career in hairdressing. The role suits a friendly, honest person who enjoys working with clients. Applicants need a trade qualification and at least two years of relevant experience. Strong skills in balayage, foilayage, foiling and colour correction are expected, along with confidence in blonding and solid cutting and styling ability. Extension application is a bonus but not essential. Good customer service, communication, punctuality and the ability to work unsupervised as part of a team are important. Duties include managing phone calls and the appointment database. English is required and Korean is preferred. The salon offers a weekly roster, a good hourly rate based on experience, a great location and a focus on work life balance. Pay is 75,000 to 85,000 per year.
